We believe that, in addition to Jesus, people need a place to belong. Whether you consider yourself part of the emerging Argenta family, or if you’re just checking out what it looks like to live as Jesus lived, it is our desire that everyone would get connected to us through one of the three ways detailed below.
During this time our entire community joins together in worship proclaiming that Jesus is Lord of all. As we hear stories and the teaching of God’s Word, we are reminded that we are not isolated but actually a part of something larger than ourselves. This causes us to respond in such a way that we become doers of God’s Word and not merely hearers.
Not primarily a Bible study, although the Bible is regularly studied. Each Missional Community is a spiritual family who lives as missionaries by incarnating the gospel through both word and deed in a particular place. Missional Communities at their core are a group of people who love to be together and know how to how fun as well as being a place of hospitality and generosity.
Huddles achieve things that are impossible in larger contexts. People need a place of support; a place where we can be encouraged; a place where we can be loved through the complexity of life. This is also a place of challenge in which others can look us in the eyes and call us out when we stumble. Both support and challenge create an intimacy and genuine depth of relationship.
